LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Waving rainbow flags and full of energy, people from across Laredo came together Saturday, June 7, to celebrate Pride Month with a parade through downtown.
The event, now in its fifth year, was hosted by the Gateway City Pride Association. Crowds cheered as floats rolled by, music played, and marchers danced down the streets.
This year’s parade had something for everyone — drag shows, a lip-sync battle, and contests for “Best Pride Outfit” and “Best Decorated Vehicle.” Families, friends, and supporters lined the sidewalks, many dressed in bright colors and glitter.
