BERRIEN CO., Mich. (WNEM) - Michigan State Police said a trooper walked away, uninjured, from a crash after their patrol vehicle was struck.

MSP said the crash happened during a traffic stop on Saturday, June 7 at 11:10 p.m. on I-94 near mile marker 25 in Lincoln Township.

A 33-year-old Missouri man was driving westbound and veered off the road, hitting the rear of the MSP patrol vehicle.

The trooper was standing outside at the time of the crash, MSP said.

Investigators believe the Missouri man was driving under the influence of drugs. He was arrested and lodged at the Berrien County Jail.

No one was injured in the crash.
