CHIMNEY ROCK, N.C. (WBTV) - Chimney Rock State Park, an area devastated by Hurricane Helene, is reopening this month .
The park will open to the public on Friday, June 27, nine months after the storm struck North Carolina.
To begin, the park will open Monday through Friday, and space will be limited.
“Thank you for all your love and support during our closure,” a spokesperson wrote. “It’s been a long road, but we’re excited to have you back on the trails with us soon.”
Officials noted that all guests need reservations; those will go live in the coming weeks at this link .
