ARAPAHOE, Neb. (KSNB) - A Cambridge teen has died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 6, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.

Troopers and the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash west of Arapahoe on Sunday around 4 p.m.

Preliminary investigation shows that a Ford Ranger was westbound on Highway 6 when it crossed the center line and struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee, NSP said. The driver of the Ford was transported to the Cambridge Hospital where he died.

NSP identified the driver of the Ford as 18-year-old James Wolf.

An adult female passenger in the Jeep was flown to Bryan Health West Campus in Lincoln with severe injuries. The driver and an infant passenger were both treated for minor injuries at the Cambridge Hospital and were released.
