NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KALB) - Three people were arrested after a traffic stop for an expired registration according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
NPSO stopped a Kia SUV on South Drive in Natchitoches on June 7 around 6:30 p.m. The driver, Brittany Jones, and three passengers, Gary Peterson, Steven Burks and another passenger, were detained. No one in the vehicle had a valid driver’s license.
Steven Burkes told NPSO his name was Christopher, providing a false identification. Once he was correctly identified as Steven Burks, it was determined he had three active warrants for his arrest.
Jones and Peterson were also wanted by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
