Black feminist writer and scholar Robyn Maynard will deliver a Jennifer Keck Memorial Lecture for Social Justice at Laurentian University this week.
The free event, hosted by the School of Social Work and Black Lives Matter Sudbury, goes Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Fraser Auditorium.

Maynard is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto-Scarborough in the Department of Historical and Cultural Studies. Her writing on borders, policing, abolition and Black feminism is taught in universities across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
