GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Georgetown County are responding to an armed individual barricaded inside a home.

The sheriff’s office is asking people to avoid Waverly Road in the Pawleys Island area.

The suspect is barricaded inside a residence on an intersecting street of St. Christopher Circle.

Deputies are on scene. No other details were provided.
