The Sting have signed the right-handed shooting defenceman from Hinsdale, Ill., after choosing him in the second round of this year’s Ontario Hockey League draft. Article content Article content
“He’s one of those types that are hard to find, especially the fact that he’s a righty and has all the bloodlines, all the tools,” Seca said. “We just think he’ll be an NHL draft pick and a really important player for our hockey club.”
Adrian Aucoin played 1,108 games over 17 NHL seasons with seven teams. He and Sting head coach Alan Letang were briefly teammates on the New York Islanders in 2002-03.
