HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Breakthrough Behavioral Services provider is facing one count of unlawfully placing a child at risk following an incident last month, Horry County police said.
Ashley Cribb, 31, of Johnsonville, was arrested Friday. Police said in a warrant she was observed on video surveillance grabbing a victim by their hand and dragging them on their knees away from a classroom on May 21 at The Learning Station, a Myrtle Beach preschool.
An incident report said that Cribb was a contracted provider for a child with autism Monday through Friday.
Cribb reportedly told authorities that the victim was "physically attacking" other students in a classroom, which prompted her to take the child into a hallway.
Cribb was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Friday a
