Walker Zimmerman has his career back on track.

He hopes to help the U.S. men’s national soccer team along a similar path Tuesday at Geodis Park.

Nashville SC’s captain and central defender will be wearing his nation’s colors when the team takes on Switzerland at 7 p.m. (TNT) in an international friendly.

The U.S. is seeking to snap a streak of three consecutive losses overall under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, and the team will also be looking for its first victory over a European team since Dec. 18 — a stretch of seven contests.

More than anything, the U.S. wants to start putting quality performances together as the 2026 World Cup — which will be hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico — creeps ever closer. Tuesday’s match will be the last for the Americans before the Gold Cup tourna
