HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Hastings man will face felony charges in Adams County District Court.

According to court records, 27-year-old Matthew Lickliter waived his preliminary hearing on Friday. His charges are now bound over to district court.

He is facing first-degree sexual assault of a child and intentional child abuse resulting in no injury.

In late May, Hastings Police arrested Lickliter following an investigation, where the victim was identified as a teenager under the age of 15.

Documents that detail what led to Lickliter’s arrest have been sealed by the court.

Lickliter is scheduled for an arraignment in Adams County District Court on July 2 at 2 p.m.

His bond is still set at 10 percent of $100,000. He is also ordered to have no contact with the victim or any juvenile und
