GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Packers defense will lose a key member on and off the field this upcoming season with the release of cornerback Jaire Alexander on Monday morning.
Alexander was a first-round pick for the Packers in 2018 and had 12 interceptions in 78 games played in the Green and Gold.
Fans at Lambeau Field on Monday had mixed emotions about the two-time Pro Bowler.
"In those moments when you needed a big play, like it was him," said Becca and Scott Bernacki, fans from Chicago, Illinois. "He provided energy and momentum to the defense, hopefully they replace that spark."
