LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Desert air aloft which has prevented rain clouds from forming will retreat to our south and west Tuesday night. A wave in the upper level wind flow will approach from the west producing rising motion in the atmosphere. With the cap of desert air out of the way, we will have chances of some showers or thundershowers between Tuesday night and Thursday. It may not be an everybody gets it scenario, but there is a decent opportunity for having some rains pop up or move into the area.
