Local civil rights advocates say they’ve confirmed immigration officials detained one person Monday morning near a Vancouver elementary school as sightings of federal agents in Clark County become more frequent.
The Southwest Washington chapter of the League of United Latin American Citizens posted on its social media pages that it confirmed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were in the area of Northwest 46th and Franklin streets about 7:45 a.m., a few blocks away from Benjamin Franklin Elementary School.
