COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression said an “emergency protest” was held on Monday night in response to the Los Angeles ICE protests.

The Alliance said the protest was held outside the Colorado Springs City Administration Building at South Nevada and Colorado Avenue at 6 p.m.

Organizer Brandon Rincon said the rally was in support of people who have been protesting in Los Angeles against President Trump’s countrywide immigration crackdown.

Rincon also said they wanted to draw attention to recent raids in Colorado Springs, including the raid at an underground nightclub near Academy and Airport in April .
