Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, the Newton judge accused of letting a suspect slip out the back door of a Newton courthouse to evade an immigration agent, will answer questions again on Monday about what happened that day back in 2018.

Joseph is set to face civil charges at a hearing with the Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct, which late last year found her alleged actions were “unbecoming of a judicial officer.”

The day will begin with an early morning visit to Newton District Court at 7:30 a.m., then continue with a hearing at the Suffolk County Courthouse in Boston.
