Protests are continuing to grow for a fourth day in Los Angeles, and local leaders here in Kern County are weighing in with their thoughts about it.

As a community in LA is divided, things have been anything but peaceful. Local leaders voice their opinions on how operations should be handled and make sure that everyone’s lives are safe.

Many Californian leaders are not holding back their thoughts with the protests currently underway in Los Angeles.

California Assemblyman Vince Fong said on X, “Gov. Newsom is siding with violent mobs attacking ICE and federal agents. It’s disgraceful. California Democrats have let chaos fester – and now the whole country is watching. President Trump is stepping up to provide safety while L.A. leaders hide from reality.”
