As the Saskatchewan Roughriders juggle personnel for their next CFL game, they have numerous places to list players while assembling an active roster to play Saturday against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Note that teams are punished financially (or lose draft picks) if they don’t abide by the league’s roster restrictions. Here are the lists at the Roughriders’ disposal:

Active roster: CFL teams can dress 44 or 45 players for a game, following guidelines that require at least 21 Nationals and one Global player, plus a maximum of 19 Americans, three quarterbacks and a nationalized American (an import who has played at least three years for Saskatchewan or five years in the CFL).

One-game injury list: For slightly injured players, although healthy players can also be stashed on the one-game
