A pizzeria is slated for Belmont Boulevard.

Hometeam Pizza is planned for 2017 Belmont Blvd. in the building last home to Athens Family Restaurant, according to a Metro permit. The business is planning to open in October, co-owner Kevin Jackson confirmed to the Post .

Nashville's Myint family owns the building from which Hometeam will operate. The Myints also also own a structure located at 2013 Belmont Blvd. and from which they operate Thai restaurant International Market.

Hometeam Pizza operates an existing location in The Nations at 4611 Alabama Ave. The business began selling pizzas via Citizen Incubator Kitchens in 2021, and shares the Alabama Avenue building with Gio's Chicago Pizza and Mama Yang & Daughter. Jackson said The Nation
