CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A 70-year-old man was convicted Monday of sexually abusing a young girl for several years, according to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office.

Gregory Lee Westfall, of Sandy, was found guilty by a jury of five counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of first-degree sodomy.

The district attorney’s office says the victim reported the abuse began when she was around 7 years old and recalled the abuse happened between five or six times before she reached the age of 12.

The victim, who is now 20, told a family member about the abuse when she was 17.

Westfall denied sexually abusing the victim and argued that a family friend may have been responsible, according to the district attorney’s office.

Westfall will be sentenced on June 24. He f
