INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - A weekend kidnapping investigation led to the arrest of a Raytown man who allegedly broke into an Independence home and took an infant from her mother.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Sunday, June 8, indicate that Isaiah D. Francises, 25, of Raytown, has been charged after he allegedly broke into the home of the mother of his child.
A probable cause statement filed by the Independence Police Department revealed that after just 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, law enforcement officials were called with reports of a kidnapping in progress. The child’s mother reported that the father, Francises, broke down her door, took the child and sped off.
