Shocking video shows the extent of 'serious disorder' in Salford this afternoon as cars driven by masked young people screeched by a gathered crowd.

A white Fiat 500 could be seen being driven erratically with the boot open, frequently mounting the curb. The car sped along, narrowly missing a crowd and passing traffic on more than one occasion.

As well as the Fiat, a black car could also be seen speeding up and down, at one point with several figures appearing to be clinging to the roof and hanging out of the windows. The car's front bumper including the registration plate was missing.
