The U.S has withdrawn from being a part of UNESCO(United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) for the 3rd time in history, and 2nd time under the Trump Administration. According to the U.S Department of State, the decision was made because of UNESCO's decision to admit the “State of Palestine” as a Member State which is contrary to U.S. policy, and UNESCO's contribution to the proliferation of anti-Israel rhetoric within the organization.
