Shelley Todd wants her money back.

The retired education assistant has spent much of the past three years fighting to recover well over six figures of her life savings, lost in a real estate investment scheme orchestrated by a Calgary Realtor she once considered a friend.

“I’ve always been a fighter, and I’ve always fought for justice,” said Todd, 61.
