ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - ASH Class of 2026 senior forward Tyshawn Duncan is one of the electrifying players to watch not just in Cenla high school basketball, but the entire state.
Duncan announced on social media his commitment to play for the in-state Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
Duncan was recruited by new Cajuns head coach Quannas White, who came over from National Runner-Up Houston as an assistant coach for the Cougars.
“The coaching staff treats me like family,” Duncan told 247 Sports. “They are down to earth, and they keep God first, and let him guide their decisions.”
During his junior season, Duncan averaged nine points with seven rebounds per game to help lead ASH to 27 wins and a State Quarterfinal appearance.
Duncan also held offers from LSU, Houston, Tulane and others.
