The St. Joseph girls athletic program got enough big points from enough teams to strike gold among area girls programs when it came to the 2024-25 school year.

The soccer, basketball and stunt teams all scored big and helped propel the Knights to a repeat Times gold medal standing among girls area sports programs for the latest academic year. St. Joseph amassed 87.3 points to 70 for runner-up Santa Ynez, which earned the silver medal. Third-place Orcutt Academy took the bronze with 65 points.

Teams earned 10 points for a league championship, 20 for a sectional championship and 25 for a regional title. Teams also scored points for each playoff win, with the points total increasing in each round.
