The Bryant football team will experience something it hasn’t had a lot of in league play this Fall: familiarity.

The Bulldogs were picked to finish 13th in the CAA preseason poll Wednesday out of the 14 teams in the league.

But this will be the second season for Chris Merritt’s program in the CAA this year.

In the head coach’s time in Smithfield, Bryant has played in four conferences in six seasons.

With preseason All-CAA defensive lineman Michael Otty on board and an idea of what to expect in the league, the Bulldogs are hoping to have more success in 2025.
