A Somerville, New Jersey, resident is on a “Jeopardy!” winning streak.
Scott Riccardi won his 15th consecutive “Jeopardy!” game on Wednesday, July 23, beating fellow New Jerseyan Gerri Budd and Nevada’s Andrew Crowley. Riccardi was in the lead going into Final Jeopardy with $32,200. Crowley and Buddi went into the round with $9,400 and $3,200, respectively.
The clue for Wednesday’s Final Jeopardy was: “Opened in 1902, it’s 87 feet in width on the 22nd Street side & less than 7 feet wide at its narrowest point on 23rd Street.”
Riccardi and Budd both correctly answered New York’s Flatiron Building, while Crowley guessed the Tribeca Building. Riccardi wagered $7,808, bringing his total winnings for the game to $40,008.
