LEWIS CENTER, Ohio — The Olentangy Schools Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution Thursday to place a bond issue on the November ballot.

The proposed bond would fund the construction of a new high school and elementary school, along with other infrastructure and safety upgrades.

The bond would not raise the current tax rate.

“This ballot issue is about continuing to accommodate our continued growth and projected classroom overcrowding, and providing engaging, quality learning spaces,” said Superintendent Todd Meyer. “We are committed to creating the overall experience our students need and deserve to flourish—whether they’re moving on to post-secondary education, the workforce, or military service.”
