CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Il. - The Major Case Squad made an arrest in the investigation into the shooting of an 11-year-old, but they say more charges could still be coming.

Jeremiah Johnson, 33, is charged with aggravated battery, mob action and obstructing justice after a shooting in the 1600 block of Andrews Drive on July 21.

The major case squad says Johnson and others started arguing in the street when gunshots were fired. The boy, completely uninvolved, was leaving a friend's house on his bike when he got caught in the gunfire. Four days later, the 11-year-old remains in critical condition.
