A major app has suffered a huge data leak causing thousands of users images and ID cards to be published online. ‌

Tea, an app that was set up with the purpose for women to 'safely discuss' men they are dating, experienced the 'voluminous' breach yesterday (Friday 25) - with over 72,000 images leaked online. ‌

These images include 13,000 selfies or selfies featuring photo identification that users had to submit during an account verification process in order to create a profile on the free app. ‌
