William Shatner is doing an ABBA by creating a hologram-style avatar of himself that will chat to his loved ones after he’s been beamed into the afterlife.
The Star Trek acting veteran, who turned 94 in March, has signed up to a programme run by AI firm StoryFile. It lets customers “preserve” their lives, stories and wisdom to pass on to future generations . StoryFile creates lifelike, interactive 3D avatars that act as if they are answering questions put to them by the living.
