A substantial conformance improvement permit recently was approved to allow deviations from certain development standards for the expansion of a vehicle audio service and repair use in Mesa.
The Mesa Board of Adjustment voted 5-0 June 4 as part of a consent agenda with other items to approve the permit for the 2.1-acre development at 7561 E. Baseline Road. Boardmembers Nicole Lynam and Gerson Barrera were absent.
The land is zoned limited commercial, which allows for vehicle service and repair businesses, Staff Planner Chloe Durfee Daniel said during a study session prior to the meeting.
