While there’s 2 months plus a week to go until we get some Spurs basketball again, at least we now know exactly when it will be. The Spurs have released their preseason schedule, beginning at home on October 6 with the Guangzhou Loong Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association. They will also play at home against the Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers, as well has at Miami and Indiana.

The most interesting match-up is probably against the Lions, if only because it brings some new (if likely outmatched) competition. This will be their fourth game against an NBA team, with the other three coming in the 2016-2018 preseasons.
