Colorado coach Deion Sanders credited former NFL receiver Randy Moss as a crucial pillar of support for him during his recent battle with bladder cancer.

As Sanders and two Colorado medical professionals revealed on Monday that he recently completed a process that saw his bladder removed to eliminate a cancerous bladder tumor, the Colorado coach profusely thanked Moss for his guidance throughout the treatment process.

Moss recently battled liver cancer and thankfully returned to his ESPN NFL duties in February after a brief pause in work.

To Sanders, Moss was invaluable resource during such a difficult time.

"Randy Moss called me every other day to make sure I was straight," Sanders emphatically told reporters during his Monday press conference. "Randy Moss prayed for me. He and his wife [Lydia Moss] told me what I needed to be doing. He's gone through some things very similar. But, Randy Moss, man. I love him to life, love him more than ever."

This is such a cool bond formed between two NFL legends on such a difficult experience as a cancer battle, and Sanders said he hoped Moss would attend a Colorado game the season.
