WASHINGTON — Two years after closing stores across the country and going out of business, a revamped version of Bed Bath & Beyond is coming back with physical store locations and a new name.

The once-iconic retail chain went bankrupt in 2023, closing hundreds of stores and transitioning to an online-only retailer when the name was bought by Overstock.com .

The parent company that owns Bed Bath & Beyond now has a new name, changing over from Kirkland's Inc. to The Brand House Collective after a shareholder meeting earlier this month.

The new company announced Monday that it would host a grand opening for the first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Brentwood, Tennessee on Aug. 8.
