OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — Ogden police arrested a man accused of taking a car unlawfully and intentionally ramming into other cars while intoxicated before getting into a physical altercation with a stranger.

Alfonso Alberto Velasco Espinoza, 45, was booked into the Weber County Jail on one count of second-degree felony vehicle theft as well as misdemeanor DUI, reckless driving, failure to comply with duties at a vehicle accident, driving without insurance and not having a valid license.

Espinoza allegedly admitted to being involved in multiple traffic incidents on Monday night, July 28, where he allegedly intentionally struck other cars on the road and aggressively followed other drivers. Espinoza reportedly claimed that he believed the other drivers were trying to harm him.
