NYE COUNTY, Nev. ( FOX5 ) — Deputies say no arrests have been made in a Nye County homicide Monday afternoon.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office said a person was found dead in Armagosa Valley Monday afternoon around 2 p.m. Deputies responded to a call reporting the body.

Officers at the scene determined the death was “suspicious.” Detectives from Pahrump processed the scene.

NCSO says the victim was identified as Neftali Correa, and he died from a homicide. Deputies say no arrests have been made so far.

“No further information will be released at this time due to being an ongoing investigation,” police said.
