The final days of July baseball kicked off with plenty of action around the Minor League landscape. Walker Jenkins (NYY), JJ Wetherholt (STL) and Jhostynxon Garcia (BOS) came through with big-time performances to power a deep Top 100 prospect contingent. On the mound, Hurston Waldrep (ATL) wrapped up a sterling month with a scoreless outing.
Jhostynxon Garcia, OF, Worcester ( BOS No. 2 / MLB No. 89 )
Garcia came up with another big performance, homering and equaling his career high with five RBIs to power Triple-A Worcester. The 22-year-old also doubled and fell a triple shy of the cycle, extending his hitting streak to six games. Garcia has been a consistent offensive force since his promotion to Triple-A, posting a .916 OPS with 12 homers and 36 RBIs in 49 games. Gameday
