8.8 earthquake off Russia prompts tsunami advisory for parts of the U.S.

A powerful 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula overnight Tuesday. A tsunami advisory was issued for parts of Alaska and the entire West Coast, from the California-Mexico border up to the Alaska-British Columbia border.
