The application period for the first draw of tickets begins Sept. 10.

Amid all the memorabilia at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, there are displays of tickets from several past FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Dan Hunt, co-chair of the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee, has attended every World Cup since 1986.

The FC Dallas owner recently told NBC 5 he plans to attend more than a dozen games across 16 host cities, including all nine matches at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
