U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering a presidential pardon for rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing a high-profile federal case.
Combs was convicted on two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution and could face up to 14 years in prison.
However, he was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Trump stated he would “certainly look at the facts” and evaluate whether Combs was treated fairly before making any decision.
He stressed that any potential pardon would not be influenced by fame or personal ties.
Diddy’s sentencing is set for October 3, 2025, in New York.
His legal team has proposed a $50 million bail, which prosecutors are currently opposing.
