NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Pelicans have added another player to their overall roster, signing guard Bryce McGowens to their last available two-way spot.
NBA two-way contracts allow a player to split time with an NBA team and its G-League affiliate. Two-way spots do not count against full-time roster spots.
Two-way players are not eligible to play in the postseason unless they are converted to a full-time player contract before the deadline in early March.
NBA full-time rosters can hold up to 15 spots. The Pelicans’ full-time roster currently has 14 players under contract.
The two other players that occupy two-way spots with New Orleans are undrafted center Hunter Dickinson and guard Trey Alexander.
McGowens, 22, is a 6′7 guard who has appeared in 118 games with Charlotte and Portland,
