The legal team representing Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a motion, requesting that the Harlem native’s conviction be vacated or that he be granted a new trial. On Wednesday (July 30), they put in the legal request for their client and claimed that the jury’s conviction of Mr. Combs under the federal Mann Act was unconstitutional.

Earlier this month , after an eight-week federal trial, the 55-year-old was found guilty on two federal counts of transporting women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution, and acquitted of the more serious charges, racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
