Hulk Hogan died from a heart attack, it has been confirmed.

The wrestling legend suffered an acute myocardial infarction before his death last week at the age of 71, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.

He also had a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes, per the records, though few other details on the matter were provided.

First responders were called to Hogan’s residence in Clearwater, Fla. on July 24 for an emergency relating to a “cardiac arrest.” The mustachioed wrestling star — born Terry Gene Bollea — was rushed from his home via ambulance to Morton Plant Hospital.
