Man shot, killed at Houston apartment complex near Brays Bayou, police say

HOUSTON - Houston Police investigators are investigating a deadly shooting that was reported near Brays Bayou, according to the department .

What we know:

The shooting was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of North MacGregor Way , near Tierwester Street.

When first responders arrived, they were directed to an apartment where they found a deceased man with gunshot wounds.

According to HPD Lieutenant Larry Crowson, a woman and two children were also found in the apartment, but they were OK.

It's believed the shooting happened after a fight in the parking lot between the victim and a group of males. Everyone who was involved allegedly entered the apartment, and the victim was shot.
