The Fontana City Council and the Fontana Police Department recognized Adam Trigger, a maintenance employee in the Fontana Public Works Department, for saving the life of a day porter who was on his lunch break. Trigger received a life-saving award during the council’s July 8 meeting.

“I’m really just glad I was there,” Trigger said. “There was a time I was going to leave the city and take another job. God just puts you in places, and things happen for a reason.”

Fontana Police Department Captain Angela Stover explained Trigger’s role in the situation.
