It was nice to see we had a $2.8-billion surplus we could put in the rainy day fund. However, l wonder how we came to garnish such a sum.

As a senior, l went for my yearly eye exam only to be told the UCP had removed the benefits for seniors and, in fact, for children for exams. This resulted in my exam doubling in price; l had to refuse the exam and l wonder how many other Albertans did the same.
