ASHBURN, Va. — Everything is sunny in Washington Commanders -land, outside of the dark cloud that has been the holdout by star receiver Terry McLaurin.

After missing the first few days of training camp in that holdout, McLaurin reported to the team and was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, which most took as a thinly veiled hold-in by the Commanders’ star . It was taken as a sign of goodwill to inspire the acceleration of a new deal.

With no news of significant progress being made toward that end by Thursday night, WUSA9 Chick Hernandez has confirmed reports that McLaurin has now requested that Washington trade him.
