Registration open for Miles for Mentorship 5K in September

A 5K benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona open to the public is coming to the West Valley.

All ages and abilities are welcome in the Miles for Mentorship 5K, which goes from 6 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at State Farm Stadium, 1 Cardinal Way in Glendale. The day will feature event shirts and 5K medals, and cheer and music zones along the route.

Following the 5K, participants and spectators can take part in the event festival, which includes food trucks, vendors, music, and activities all on the South Lawn of State Farm Stadium.

The 5K age groups are 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
